Farewell message to Adeyemo-kester

Created by Adenike 4 years ago

my dear Cousin Adeyemo,

As your mortal remains are laid to rest today, I thank God for the privilege of having had you in my life. From my youth upwards. I recall with fondness the conversations we use to have during which I never heard a spiteful or hurtful remark issue from your lips.

You were a cheerful soul delighting in the success of family and friends. In fact you were altogether too nice for these times exuding old worldly values worthy of emulation. Your optimism was contagious.  To use a cliched phrase- when life threw you a lemon you endeavoured to make lemonade.

You will be sorely missed.

May the Holy Spirit comfort and strengthen the family and friends; and may Almighty God illuminate cousin Adeyemo's eternal soul and may he dwell in the House of the Lord forever. AMEN

Rest in peace my gentle and beloved cousin.
